December 10, 2000 - my day to shine.

The University of Phoenix held their winter graduation on December 10, 2000 - and I was one among many tripping across the stage to receive my hard-earned diploma.

It was definitely a trip to get my diploma. What a rush - imagine doing this at my age!

I received my Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Information Systems and in Business Management.

My whole tribe showed up!

As I was receiving my diploma from Craig Swenson, UOP Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, he comments that it appears I brought the largest cheering section for the day. The family in the audience was hooting and cheering, helping me make my day memorable!

Graduation was held at TCC.

The Tucson Convention Center is usually home to the UOP graduations - it was no different this year, only that we had a much smaller graduating class than ever. But it was nice, since it was small and QUICK!

Sure wasn't a REZ graduation with everything repeated from English to Navajo, and vice versa. It was over and done with in a little over one hour.

It was special to have Mom there!

Mom had not been feeling well for several months prior to graduation, but I was blessed to have her witness a memorable occasion in my life. Thanks Mom for everything!
